Review: Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant

I am obsessed with exfoliating! A scrub does not have to be gritty or harsh to exfoliate. It can actually create micro-tears in your skin, leading to irritation and possibly scarring. I discovered Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant about 4 years ago through a sample giveaway. It has been a staple in my skincare regime ever since!

Dermalogica claims, " A unique Rice-based enzyme powder that microfoliates dulling debris and helps stimulate cell renewal to reveal brighter, smoother skin." It is a extremely gentle powder exfoliant and can be used on a daily basis. Add a little bit of water to create a paste and massage into skin, even better if you have Clarisonic Mia. My skin has never been irritated from using this, even when my acne was inflamed. I continue to use it, as my acne is under control.

Exfoliating also increases effectiveness and penetration of other products like eye cream, serum, moisturizer and treatments. I use this exfoliant 3x/week and sometimes more (it can be used daily!) I love to use before a mask to allow ingredients to penetrate better. This product can be used for all skin conditions.
